Batter Up from TailGreat Batter Up

Terms of Use

Last updated: June 30, 2026

The short version: Batter Up is a free tool offered as-is to help coaches and parents. Use it to organize your team. Be respectful of kids' privacy, don't misuse it, and understand it comes with no warranties.

Acceptance

By using Batter Up ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What the app is

The app is a free, personal project by Ryan Thompson, a parent and youth baseball coach, offered under the TailGreat name. It helps you build a batting order, plan inning-by-inning defense, track playing time, and optionally manage walk-up songs. It is provided for convenience and does not guarantee compliance with any league's rules; you remain responsible for your own lineups and decisions.

Acceptable use

Use the app only for organizing youth or recreational sports teams. Do not use it to collect or publish sensitive information about minors. We ask that you use first names and last initials only and avoid photos or identifying details. Do not attempt to misuse, attack, or reverse-engineer the app to harm others.

Sharing

When you share a lineup link or QR code, the lineup details are contained in the link. You are responsible for whom you share links with. Share them with your team and coaches, not publicly.

Music

The app stores and displays song titles you enter and can open Spotify search; it does not host, stream, or distribute audio recordings. You are responsible for how you play any music at your events and for any applicable licenses.

No affiliation

Batter Up is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Little League Baseball, Major League Baseball, Spotify, Google, or any league, team, or company. Product and company names are the property of their respective owners. The app is a personal project and is not a product or service of Mention Group or any employer.

As-is; no warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. You use it at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the creator of Batter Up is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. The app is free, and no warranty or support is promised.

Changes

These terms may change as the app evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
